We work with Vygotsky's theory, which emphasizes that children learn best when they are actively involved in the process through hands-on experiences, play, and interaction with their social environment. In teaching Spanish, we apply this theory by allowing children to practice the language in meaningful, real-life contexts, receiving support from both their peers and adults. Additionally, we implement a vertical workshop approach that fosters collaboration among children of different ages. This enables older children to guide younger ones, enriching language learning and strengthening social and cognitive skills.
